I think that it has been strongly suggested that the Undead should never become emotionally or romantically attached to those lasses who they drain dry of their vital life elixir. It can be quite trying to go through eternity having a heartache for one who you made a heart irrelevant. just one bite of that beauty and a succubus can not put the genie back in her bottle.
